Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your Poisa account and all data associated with it. Poisa is published by Poisa.
Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app (instant)
- Open Poisa.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Profile and tap “Delete account and all data” (or “Exit guest mode” if you signed in without an account).
- Confirm. Your account and every record are erased immediately.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you can no longer open the app, email yasinalibd04@gmail.com from the address linked to your Google sign-in, with the subject “Delete my Poisa account”. We remove the account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, and user ID from Google Sign-In)
- All transactions, categories, accounts, and budgets you created
- Your saved preferences
- Your authentication record
Nothing is retained after deletion. Poisa keeps no backups of individual user data and does not sell or share your data with third parties. Anonymous, aggregated operational logs (with no personal identifiers) may persist for up to 90 days.
Delete only some of your data (keep your account)
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside Poisa:
- A single transaction — open the Transactions tab, swipe the row and tap Delete (or open it and use Delete).
- A category — Settings → Manage categories, open the category, tap Delete.
- An account — Settings → Manage accounts, open the account, tap Delete.
- A budget — Settings → Budgets, open the budget, tap Delete.
These deletions are immediate and permanent. Your account, profile and everything you do not delete are kept. To request a partial deletion you cannot do yourself, email yasinalibd04@gmail.com describing what to remove; we action it within 30 days.
আপনার Poisa অ্যাকাউন্ট ও তথ্য মুছে ফেলা
উপায় ১ — অ্যাপ থেকে নিজেই মুছুন
- Poisa খুলুন।
- Settings ট্যাবে যান।
- Profile অংশে “Delete account and all data” (গেস্ট হলে “Exit guest mode”) চাপুন।
- নিশ্চিত করুন — অ্যাকাউন্ট ও সব তথ্য সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মুছে যাবে।
উপায় ২ — আমাদের বলুন
অ্যাপ খুলতে না পারলে আপনার Google সাইন-ইন করা ঠিকানা থেকে yasinalibd04@gmail.com-এ “Delete my Poisa account” বিষয় দিয়ে ইমেল করুন। ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে সব তথ্যসহ অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলা হবে।
শুধু কিছু তথ্য মুছুন (অ্যাকাউন্ট রেখে)
- একটি লেনদেন — Transactions ট্যাবে সারিটি swipe করে Delete।
- ক্যাটাগরি — Settings → Manage categories → Delete।
- অ্যাকাউন্ট — Settings → Manage accounts → Delete।
- বাজেট — Settings → Budgets → Delete।
এগুলো সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ও স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যায়; বাকি সব থেকে যায়। নিজে করতে না পারলে yasinalibd04@gmail.com-এ কী মুছতে হবে লিখে পাঠান — ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে করা হবে।
